This is our story

Work to Know and Empower (WOKE) is an organization that intellectually supports underserved young people. Formerly 'Lend A Hand Initiative' (LAHI) and Erudite Drive, WOKE began in 2014 as an initiative to empower young people in Lagos, Nigeria. Now registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, we have over time evolved to incorporate other aspects of social entrepreneurship and community development. We are tackling educational gaps and bettering the lives of young Africans, one mind at a time.

Our mission is to intellectually empower underserved young people, especially in Africa, through capacity-building, digital mentorship, and legal advocacy.
